GENERAL DESCRIPTION TAKESI TREK YUNGAS

Itinerary

DAY 1: LA PAZ – SAN FRANCISCO MINE – TAKESI.

We start this day at 07:00 with him pick you up from your hotel, to go in private transport to San Francisco Mine (4700 m.a.s.l). We start the 2-hour ascent walk towards the Summit (4950 m.a.s.l). Later we descend for 30 minutes to have lunch near a lagoon, after 1 hour of rest we continue the walk towards the Pedestrian Bridge, in the On the way, we appreciate the pre-Inca cobblestone road where the change in the ecosystem is noticeable. DAY 2: TAKESI – KAKAPI.

We will start the day with the breakfast, to then start a 5-hour trek until we reach the village of Kakapi 2,800 m.a.s.l. Likewise, we will walk through a tropical environment with wonderful views. Finally, we will arrive at Kakapi where we will have our dinner and we will be able to rest in our camp, in the middle of Nature and mountains.

DAY 3: KAKAPI – CHOJLLA MINE – LA PAZ.

After our breakfast, the first activity of the day will be the trek to the Chojlla Mine for 3 hours. In the trekking we will be able to experience the hot and humid climate. We will also have privileged views of the jungle and the possibility of taking many photographs of the place. After lunch, we will return to the city of La Paz at 6:00 p.m. In this way we finished Taquesi Trek.
