AMBORO NATIONAL PARK – 2 DAYS
The Amboró National Park and Integrated Management Natural Area is a protected area of Bolivia and one of the world’s most biodiverse reserves, located west of the department of Santa Cruz, in the so-called “Elbow of the Andes”, where the western mountain range changes course in a southerly direction. Its western margin borders with the Carrasco National Park, located in the department of Cochabamba.
The tour to Amboró begins in Santa Cruz, when a vehicle will take you to the town of Buena Vista. There, our guide will be waiting to receive you and transfer you to the Amboró Park Interpretation Center. In this center, our guide will illustrate for you with interesting information about the park and the trails you are about to travel.
After this visit, a vehicle will take you for approximately 1.5 hours to a point near the Park, where you will start your walk through this tropical paradise. During this tour–crossing rivers and streams– to the park ranger camp, it is already possible to observe monkeys, toucans, squirrels, and other wild animals.
