Itinerary
DAY 1. LA PAZ – CHALLAPAMPA.
First, we left La Paz at 08:00 am, in our tourist transport, heading towards the summit. Later, with a short walk, we ascend to 4,900 m.a.s.l. Later, we descend towards Samanapampa and we will also pass through the town of Chucura and thus descend to Challapampa at 3,400 meters above sea level where we camp the first night. In addition, on this tour we will take a 6-hour tour.
DAY 2. CHALLAPAMPA – SAN FRANCISCO.
First, after breakfast, we leave Challapampa at 08:30 am. Afterwards, we will start our walk in a very tropical ecosystem where we will be able to observe different types of flora and fauna and in two hours we will arrive at Choro 2,200 m.a.s.l. Later, we will enjoy the beautiful warm weather and lush vegetation, birds, flora and fauna. Finally, we will arrive at the second campsite in San Francisco, at 2,040 m.a.s.l.
DAY 3. SAN FRANCISCO – COROICO.
Finally, this day we will go from San Francisco to Sandillani, from where we begin to descend towards Chairo, 1,300 m.a.s.l. Likewise, a walk that lasts between 4 and 5 hours approx. Finally, we take the transport to Coroico – La Paz.
