DAY 1:

DAY 1:

The tour will begin at 9:00am, while we travel by minibus from Rurrenabaque to the Pampa area. After a three-hour trip, we will arrive at our ecological home, Caracoles, which is located within the Yacuma River Municipal Reserve. Here, you will enjoy a delicious lunch and have some free time to settle in your cabins or rest in the hammocks outdoors.

In the afternoon, we will take a boat trip to observe wildlife, easy to see as you glide down the river. The dry season is the perfect time to see different species of wildlife, such as caimans, anacondas, turtles, capybaras, endangered pink dolphins, different types of monkeys, and countless varieties of exotic-looking birds. However, seeing caimans and anacondas during the rainy season can be tricky as the river water rises, hiding these animals from view.

After a delicious dinner, our guide will take you on a night walk to see the bright eyes of the caimans, which rest on the riverbank, as well as other nocturnal animals.

DAY 2

Wake up to the sounds of animals at dawn, echoing around you. The day will begin with a hearty breakfast, after which we will board a boat that heads towards the Yacuma River. Our final destination will be a place where many yellow squirrel monkeys can be seen, playfully scampering around the trees. This monkey species is native to the rainforests of South America, and has made the dense canopy of trees its home. Watch them swing from branch to branch and hang from trees to drink from the river. After observing the monkeys a little, we will have lunch and from there we will take a mini bus back to Rurrenabaque. Approximate arrival will be at 5:00.
