Thanks to its wide variety of habitat types, San Miguelito is also one of the most species-rich in Bolivia, making it an ideal destination for wildlife viewing.

Itinerary

DAY 1. SANTA CRUZ – SAN MIGUELITO.

First, very early in the morning, we leave Santa Cruz in the direction of San Miguelito, but first we will make a short stop in the Mennonite colony, Manitoba, a very religious site. Likewise, their work hours are from 06:00 to 21:00, then we will visit the cheese factory on the way to the ranch. Later, at 12 noon, we will arrive at the lodge in San Miguelito.

In the afternoon at 1:00 p.m. we will take a walk to Anaconda Lake, in this wonderful destination we will have our lunch and then a short nap. Then, at 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., we will have a tour in a 4 x 4 truck to the corner of the tiger. In the afternoon at 5:00 p.m. we will take a canoe ride along the San Julián River, where we will do sport fishing, later at 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., we will return to the van, one of the activities is to take a shower at fresh air. Finally, at 8:00 p.m. we will have our dinner and then a rest until the next day.

DAY 2. SAN MIGUELITO – NICKY CAMP.

This day we will wake up very early at 06:00 and we will be able to see a sunrise accompanied by coffee or tea, then we will observe a lot of wildlife. In addition, we will walk along an ecological path surrounded by great biological diversity next to the river bank through the lowland area, then we will have a nutritious breakfast. Then, at 11:00 in the morning, you will have the option to visit San Antonio de Lomerio and the Jesuit Mission to learn about this 100% Chiquitano culture.

Next, we will have a nutritious lunch, after a short nap at 3:00 p.m., we will take a 4 x 4 truck trip to Camp Nicky and then we will do piranha fishing and hiking activities at Camp Nicky.

In the afternoon at 6:00 p.m. we will have a guided trail to appreciate the wildlife of the place, then we will return to the lodge. In the evening at 7:00 p.m. we will have our delicious dinner, if you wish you will have a night walk.

DAY 3. RINCON DE TIGRE TOUR IN 4×4.

Very early in the morning we will start our tour at 05:00 – 06:00, which consists of a 4×4 tour to Rincón del Tigre, then, at 06:00 – 09:00, we wake up crossing the river in the middle of a boat. At 09:00 – 10:00 we will have our breakfast, then, in 4×4 transport, we will begin our journey to the jaguar cave, there we will spend the morning enjoying the surrounding environment. At 1:00 p.m. we will enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon we leave Santa Cruz arriving at 7:00 p.m. End of our service.
